Socialism Is America's Most Critical Enemy Within

John Minford, #SunTzu 9: 31 "Much running about and soldiers parading are a sign of expectation." Lionel Giles, 9: 27 "When there is much running about and the soldiers fall into rank, it means that the critical moment has come.

Today's point goes to Giles, I believe. I LOVE the term "the critical moment has come." And, here's Giles' own addition thought on this verse: "Every man hastening to his proper place under his own regimental banner."

We have to face it, America, we have allowed the banner of Socialism to become one of the ranks that today's political soldiers can fall under, not realizing they're betraying America Herself in so doing. And here's one of our great errors.

We've allowed the Progressive Left - Communism-lite - to transform our language - our very mode of thinking - in their favor. For instance, Socialism is NOT primarily economic in nature. It is totalitarian. It is the dream of the herd, and very literally so.

Consider healthcare. It is the health of the herd, NOT the health of the individual that is its great driver. Why did Obama invest what was essentially the totality of his political capital into that one initiative? Healthcare is Socialism's - disguised Communism's - great wedge.

From the center of the herd, they call out to every outlier, standing lonely against the predations of disease, and cry to them, come join us, we will protect you. Little do the outliers realize they'll be the ones on the outward rim of the herd facing the brunt of attack.

Socialism is America's most critical enemy within, with each of its soldiers falling into his proper place under his regimental banner. And they are running about and parading. Let's place this once again into simple historical context.

Those of us who joined the MAGA movement in 2016 and staved off an HRC presidency knew we faced a critical moment. Our leader has done his best against the swamp hoards in DC. But - as we showed in 2018 - we became immediately complacent. We depend on our leader.

And as we've discussed many times, he came through for us in the Senate, increasing our hold upon it. But we failed him in the House. Why didn't we see that the House would end up impeaching him for our failure? Why didn't we rally the way we should have?

Who remembers Reince Priebus' great failure analysis of our 2012 defeat, and its outcomes? In the four years following, the RNC built the greatest data system for campaigning that had ever existed. (@parscale is leading its improved successor, now, by many orders of magnitude.)

I ask, however, who leads the process of analyzing our hellacious failure in 2018, the one leading to today's impeachment threat under Nancy Pelosi? Aren't you sick of excuses? We need to take 100% responsibility for this. We failed. We must own it. We didn't rally to our banner.

Perhaps it is a condition of Constitutional Republic run upon the ideal of Democracy, where we chose our own leaders by elections, where there is always a case that this election is the most important ever. I grow tired of such warnings and threats, don't you?

Yet as our translator Giles informs us, we're yet again at a critical moment. We see the banners and flags of disguised Communism hoisted, and we see the soldiers scurrying yet again, and with greater boldness than ever before. Who could have imagined this was our direction?

Imagination is no longer needed, merely observation. I admit, I was quite shocked when a recent conversation with one of my many Democrat friends, entailed a discussion of the health of the herd, and included the term "luxury" relative to basic rights. Luxury? The wellbeing of the individual is granted by the herd. If anyone has "rights" it is only because of the safety made possible by the herd. I'm not kidding. Rights are luxuries. In other places, where the herd must protect itself more fiercely, there is no illusion of rights.

Our banner cannot merely be capitalism. This is part of how they trap us. Take China. As a nation, run by a single party, it is one of the greatest capitalist enterprises in all of history. It's reach across the modern economy makes it, essentially, the world's largest company.

We attempt to run up the flag of Free Market Capitalism, and that's better, at least it has the word "free" in it. But it cannot compete with Socialism. You see, our freedom is what EMPOWERS our capitalism, and NOT the other way around. We ARE capitalists, BECAUSE we are free.

I try to tell my Democrat friends that my health insurance plan was destroyed by Obamacare since one of their great targets was health insurance for the self-employed. They always respond, well, someone who couldn't afford health insurance before got it, so that's a tradeoff.

Do you see? Self-employed, I am outside the herd. Therefore, my insurance had to be wiped out, to rope me back into the herd. Capitalism didn't cause my freedom, it resulted from it. Curtail my freedom, and you force me toward Socialism and its great scam.

Give us your freedom, it offers, and you'll get safety in return. But it won't actually be YOUR safety, just the safety of the herd (which too is an illusion) because we who control the herd are the only ones who benefit. We'll destroy your safety after you give up your freedom.

So, here's the banner I recommend we claim: Freedom. They organize around Socialism. Let us organize around Freedom. Sure, they'll soon try to steel it, and call it something like Freedom From Disease. But if we hold to the truth, their attempted theft will fail.

And when asked: how will we ensure this Freedom? The answer is: by means of a Constitutional Republic, restored to its founding principles. Who knows, perhaps we might grow a hashtag such as: #FreedomByConstitutionalRepublic

At any rate, as Master Sun teaches us today, we can see the enemy soldiers running about and falling into rank under his regimental banner. And we can understand that the critical moment has come.
